What It’s About: Some of Button Shy’s earlier games are being reprinted in the wake of the success of Circle Your Wagons, Sprawlopolis, and Tussie Mussie. Those games currently include: Avignon: A Clash of Popes by John Du Bois, Avignon: Pilgrimage by John Du Bois, Banned Books by Jason Tagmire, Cunning Folk by James Treat, The Maiden in the Forest by Todd Sanders, Mint Julep by Dan Letzring, Pentaquark by Mike Mullins, Pickpockets by Isaac Shalev & Matt Loomis, Stew by Jason Glover, Turbo Drift by Rob Cramer, Twin Stars: Adventure Series I by Jason Tagmire & Mike Mullins, and Twin Stars: Adventure Series II by Jason Tagmire & Mike Mullins.
How It Works: We’re not going to list the rules for each of the 12 currently featured games (it’s also possible more will be added before the end of the campaign). But all Button Shy games are 18-card games shipped in a plastic “wallet.” Button Shy also releases a new “Wallet Game” every month, and you can check out their website if you’d like to consider signing up with their subscription service. Or you can grab a bunch of games being reprinted via this Kickstarter.
Comparisons: Any other Button Shy Games, the most popular being Circle the Wagons, Sprawlopolis and Tussie Mussie. Any other small card games such as Love Letter would also make good comparisons.
