Summary: “The D-Day Dice: Reinforcements expansion contains 10 Legendary Units to help you conquer those pesky bunkers. These units can be used instead of the standard Units in any of the expansions of the core game.
In D-Day Dice, players are Allied soldiers trying to organize improvised units for an attack against the machine gun nest. Each player starts the game with a unit of a few soldiers and nothing else. As the game progresses, they will collect resources and advance on the beach, sector by sector, as their unit grows stronger and deadlier. D-Day Dice is a multiplayer co-op game, where all players play their turn simultaneously and must help each other in order to stay alive. It also includes solitaire optional rules. Although built around dice rolling, this game is about resource management (soldiers, specialists, items and courage) and knowing when to move your unit. Resources are kept from turn to turn, so the players can plan ahead.”

In Red Dragon Inn, you and your friends are a party of heroic, fantasy adventurers. You’ve raided the dungeon, killed the monsters, and taken their treasure. Now you’re back, and what better way to celebrate your most recent victory than to spend an evening at the Red Dragon Inn. You and your adventuring companions will spend the night drinking, gambling, and roughhousing. The last person who is both sober enough to remain conscious and shrewd enough to hold onto his Gold Coins wins the game.”

Project: Totem Hoarder
Designers: Lenart Slabe, Oskar Slabe
Artist: Lenart Slabe
Publisher: Totem Hoarder Games
Genre/Mechanisms: 2 player only games, archaeology / paleontology, card game, draw and discard, fantasy, fighting, hand management, interrupts, set collection, take that
Player Count: 2
Solo Mode: no
Complexity: light
Risk: HIGH
Summary: “Two players assume the roles of rival archeologists and artifact collectors, racing to get a hold of magical Totems. By getting 1 card and playing 1 card each turn, both players assembles teams of creatures on the table in front of them. On a player’s turn, they normally draw 1 card from the common pile and play 1 card by putting it into their team – their respective side of the battlefield. Most of the cards in the draw pile are creatures that can be played to perform various actions. But some cards are Totems and follow a slightly different set of rules: if a played Totem in interrupted with a Spooky Skelly, that Totem immediately switches teams. Totems are also indestructible – if you attack an opponent’s Totem, move it into your own team instead of discarding it. The first player to have three Totems (and no Spooky Skellies) in their team wins.”
